1. The service

Batata is a social gaming platform: you play games made by creators, share them, message other players, and (if you choose) publish games of your own. You must be 13 or older to create an account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for what happens on your account. One account per person. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, abuse other players, or attack the platform.

3. Content and behaviour

• Games and messages you publish must be yours to publish and lawful.
• No harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, or illegal content — anywhere, including private messages. Players can report; we review and act.
• We may remove content and restrict distribution to keep the platform safe.

4. Creator games

Creators keep ownership of their games and grant Batata a licence to host, distribute and display them on the platform. Games run in a restricted sandbox; attempting to escape it is a bannable offence and may be unlawful.

5. Fair play

Scores are verified server-side. Cheating, botting, or manipulating leaderboards, ranks or the recommendation system may lead to score removal or account suspension.

6. Liability

The service is provided “as is” during this early period. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost data, or content created by other users.

7. Changes

When these terms change we will ask for your agreement again before the changes apply to you. The version you agreed to is always recorded.
